Company Background

Shaun Jayasundera founded Revolve in 2005. After spending over a decade at Dell Inc. in executive positions in marketing, finance and general management, Shaun was convinced that there was a better way to bring extended services to market. He concluded that by giving customers more choices on how to pay and the flexibility to control the duration of their services--without long-term commitments--that customers would perceive even greater value from extended services purchases.

Revolve was created specifically to enable extended warranties and other services to be sold on a monthly basis for consumer electronics, appliances and personal computers. From the beginning, Revolve sought to combine monthly warranties with sophisticated, yet easy to use, technological capabilities. By making it easy to process warranty orders, providing insightful reporting and analytics to understand the business, calculating retailer sales rep’s commissions and having advanced pricing features that can attract and retain customers, Revolve has brought innovation to the industry in many ways.
